A fingertip pulse oximeter is a small, portable device that measures the oxygen level (oxygen saturation) in your blood. It works by shining a light through your finger and measuring the amount of oxygen in the blood based on the amount of light absorbed. The device displays the results in the form of a percentage, which is known as your oxygen saturation level.
Fingertip pulse oximeters are easy to use and can be operated with just a few button presses. They are typically worn on the finger and are small enough to be carried in a pocket or purse.
